Affiliate Disclosure

At Learner's World, we help readers make better decisions by suggesting resources so they can get the best out of them.

We believe that one way to grow properly is to ignore easy opportunities. After all, you spend time and work hard on your journey to get everything, including all the necessary tools and resources.

When we find something valuable to our readers, we share links to the resource and sometimes some links are our affiliate links.

So let's talk about affiliate links.

Affiliate links

Sometimes when we recommend a website, resource or product, we will link to the company's website using what is known as an affiliate or referral link. Basically, if you end up buying a product found through our links, we get a small "thank you" commission from the seller.

Sometimes that commission is just a few dollars; Sometimes it's a little too much. Sometimes it's a one-time commission; Sometimes it's a rolling commission - so if you sign up for a monthly subscription service, we get a slice of that monthly fee.

But here's the important thing - that referral won't cost you a penny. The full commission comes out of your pocket and not the seller's.

And it goes without saying that we will never recommend a resource, link or product because it pays us a commission because that would be lazy, right?

Therefore we will only recommend products that we have personally used or have been recommended by trusted peers. (Finally, we'd be doing you a disservice if we recommended products that we're using ourselves right now, because there are resources, tools out there that are great when you're just starting out, I mean?)

So you can easily tell when we are using an affiliate link, we will put (affiliate link) after it.

For example, an affiliate link from our recommended blog host Bluehost looks like this:

Now it's possible that we didn't clearly identify some of the links in the old post, so the safest thing to do is to assume that any time we link to a third-party product, we get a small commission.

All good? Great!
